Octomom Gets Movie Offer
In the news this past week Fox News reported that "Octomom" Suleman got a million dollar movie offer from the fine folks at Vivid. You can read about it here and here. If you are unfamiliar with Vivid they are the ones behind fine cinematic releases such as Basic Oral Training, Trannyville, Ass Traffic, The American MILF Series, The subject of a previous post Faithless, and many other fine movies. Where to begin with this story? How about with the name Octomom? I'm not sure I want to see any porn movie with the star Octomom. That sounds like something you would see in one of those anime porn movies that involves rape and tentacles. I'm also not sure I want to see a lady who has just given birth to eight kids naked. 
Anyway the movie is supposed to be Octomom in eight scenes with eight different guys. Nice!! I got to say I love this quote by Vivid CEO Stephen Hirsch:

That is a classic. One way to be able to hold your head up high and support your kids on your own is by making a porn with eight other dudes. You got to love the porn industry. It is probably the only job where a single mom of 14 kids on welfare will get a million dollar paycheck.

Tell a Fairy Tale Day
This is a day that Fairy Tales are made of (and for). It's Tell a Fairy Tale Day . Today is a great opportunity to read your kids. If the kids aren't around, its certainly okay to read them alone. We all know that everybody loves a good fairy tale. 
To qualify as a fairy tale, a story does not have to begin with "Once upon a time.....". But, they usually do. It is a requirement that the story has a happy ending. There's nothing better than a good story that ends with "and they all lived happily ever after".
On Fairy Tale Day, cozy up under a blanket with the kids and read "the good book"....a fairy tale book. Libraries and schools will often mark this day with special fairy tale readings and story hours.

Love Your Pet Day
One last holiday today:Love Your Pet Day is day to pamper your pet. People just love their pets, and today is an easy excuse to spend time with them, and to give them special treats. Whether its a dog, a cat, a fish, a pet snake, or your pet rock......give them lots of love and attention today.
Interestingly, Ecard companies have a wide choice of cards for today. There are many cards to send to pet owners to make them smile and feel good. However, we did not find a single Ecard to be sent to the pet. ........hmmm.
If you don't have a pet, maybe today is the day to adopt a pet. Take a trip to your local Humane Society, and bring home an animal that needs you. It will make you both feel good.

On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant "Hoodie-Hoo".It is a day to chase away winter and bring in spring. After all, everyone in the northern hemisphere are sick and tired of winter at this point and a little crazy being cooped up inside all winter and not seeing the sun.
