Student-Hosted Porn Screening Threatens College Funding

Another great story from Fox News.

A porn flick making its way across college campuses is drawing stiff resistance from conservatives who say universities are paying for smut and a Maryland legislator who is threatening to cut off funding to schools that screen it.
Awesome!! How many of you can say you got to see a porn screening in college? The movie? "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge."
The movie stars the awesome actresseslike Jesse Jane and Carmen Luvana.

Naked Idol on Tonight at 8

Could it suck more that a movie with the title Naked Idol is being shown on Nickelodeon? I have to say if there is ever a case for false advertisement this is it. When watching a movie called Naked Idol you don't expect a bunch of kids competing to be in a band you expect a competition like this:

Octomom Gets Movie Offer

In the news this past week Fox News reported that "Octomom" Suleman got a million dollar movie offer from the fine folks at Vivid. You can read about it here and here. If you are unfamiliar with Vivid they are the ones behind fine cinematic releases such as Basic Oral Training, Trannyville, Ass Traffic, The American MILF Series, The subject of a previous post Faithless, and many other fine movies. Where to begin with this story? How about with the name Octomom? I'm not sure I want to see any porn movie with the star Octomom. That sounds like something you would see in one of those anime porn movies that involves rape and tentacles. I'm also not sure I want to see a lady who has just given birth to eight kids naked. Anyway the movie is supposed to be Octomom in eight scenes with eight different guys. Nice!! I got to say I love this quote by Vivid CEO Stephen Hirsch:

"She’s struggling financially and this is a woman who wants to provide for her kids," Hirsch said. "This way she can hold her head high and not be using taxpayers money to support her family."

That is a classic. One way to be able to hold your head up high and support your kids on your own is by making a porn with eight other dudes. You got to love the porn industry. It is probably the only job where a single mom of 14 kids on welfare will get a million dollar paycheck.

Aubrey O’Day in Playboy

Might be worth checking out, her is the story on Fox News.

Kelli McCarty - Faithless

Quick name a former Miss USA or Miss America. Is the only one that comes to mind Vanessa Williams? Well now another is going to be remembered for the reasons that Ms. Williams is remembered and more. Former Miss USA Kelli McCarty is doing porn. You can read all about it is this Fox News story . Kelli wanted to combine the two things she really liked, acting (she was on the soap Passions and Disney's Even Stevens) and sex. Wow talk about going to extremes, couldn't you just do some hard R movies instead? I have to say she is quite the looker.

Young 'Adolf Hitler' and Two Sisters Removed From Home

Another great Fox News story . I have some serious issues with the naming of these kids. What kind of life are you setting your kids up for when you name your kids Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. I don't know if they were trying to be funny, serious, loser racists, or were that stupid but don't make life harder than it already is on your kids.

Megan Fox Says She Wants Salma Hayek's Chest

Fox News once again scoops the other news agencies with this breaking news about Megan Fox. Ms. Fox seems to think she is ugly and compares her body to that of a tranny, and really likes Salma Hayak's boobs. I have to agree with her on Salma's boobs but the rest? I have to disagree. Here are some pictures from Megan's FHM shoot for you to decide for yourself.
And of course the always awesome Salma Hayek.

'American Idol' sues over 'Stripper Idol' contest

I think Yahoo is trying to keep up with Fox news with this news story. You'd think American Idol would have better things to do than hassle a strip club. The plus side is it gives me a chance to post some pictures of some strippers. Enjoy!!

Ricardo Montalban, TV Star and Chrysler Pitchman, Dies at 88

From Bloomberg.com:

Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Ricardo Montalban, the Mexican-born actor whose regal bearing and sonorous voice led to roles as a science-fiction villain, the host on the mysterious “Fantasy Island” and pitchman for the “soft Corinthian leather” of the Chrysler Cordoba, has died. He was 88.
Montalban died at his home in Los Angeles, the Associated Press reported today, citing City Council President Eric Garcetti. No cause or date of death was given.
Though he appeared in movies with stars such as Esther Williams, Lana Turner and Shirley MacLaine, Montalban said Hollywood wasn’t willing to make full use of a Latin-American actor. He once tried out for a part of a Mexican, only to lose out to American actor John Garfield.
So Montalban turned to television, starting with the live dramas of the 1950s that many actors shied away from. New Yorker magazine film critic Pauline Kael called Montalban “one of those potentially major actors who never got the roles that might have made them movie stars.”
Montalban was perhaps best known for his portrayal of the character Khan Noonian Singh, a genetically engineered, tyrannical super-human introduced in a 1967 episode of “Star Trek” that ended with the space ship USS Enterprise depositing Khan and his followers on an inhospitable planet. The plotline resumed 15 years later in the movie “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” (1982), with Montalban’s character seeking vengeance.
Getting Noticed
In 1974, Montalban played the title role in George Bernard Shaw’s “Don Juan in Hell” on a six-month national tour after two-dozen performances on Broadway. In Detroit, his performance drew the interest of executives at Chrysler Corp., which was about to unveil a new car with a Spanish name: the Cordoba.
In television advertisements for the car, Montalban extolled the “tastefulness of its appearance” and the “thickly cushioned luxury of seats available even in soft Corinthian leather.”
The phrase “Corinthian leather,” which rolled off Montalban’s tongue, had been made up by copy writers at Young & Rubicam, Adweek later reported. No matter: it became a popular line, widely imitated and parodied.
Montalban worked with Chrysler for 15 years, hawking other luxury models including the LeBaron and the New Yorker.
Aaron Spelling, the prolific TV producer whose creations dominated ABC prime time in the 1970s and early 1980s, saw the Cordoba commercial and thought of Montalban for a new show about an island that lets visitors live out a lifelong dream.
Dreams Fulfilled
As Mr. Roarke, the white-suited superintendent of “Fantasy Island,” Montalban oversaw the fulfillment of the dreams, urging his staff to welcome each week’s visitors with “smiles, everyone, smiles!”
Though Roarke’s powers were never explained, Montalban said he came up with a theory that informed his portrayal.
“I decided this man was an angel that still had a little bit of sin of pride in him -- too proud,” Montalban said in a 2002 interview with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation. In this view, Roarke was in charge of purgatory, “where people go through tests, and some of them go for the better, and some for the worse.”
The series ran from 1978 to 1984 and cemented Montalban’s reputation as a congenial and cooperative star.
“Working with Ricardo was a joy,” Spelling, who died in 2006, wrote in “Aaron Spelling: A Prime-Time Life,” his 1996 memoir. “Ricardo made good scripts better and not-so-good scripts work. I don’t remember him ever doing any rewrites. He set a perfect example for the rest of the cast.”
Early Frustration
Ricardo Gonzalo Pedro Montalban Merino was born Nov. 25, 1920, in Mexico City. His parents had emigrated from northern Spain so Montalban’s father could take a job running a store. After a few years the family settled in Torreon, in northern Mexico.
Montalban moved in with an older brother in Los Angeles to attend high school. There, he got the acting bug after landing the lead in a school play.
After moving to New York, he appeared on stage and in the short musical films known as “soundies.” Frustrated after losing the part of a Mexican to Garfield in “Tortilla Flat” (1942), he returned to Mexico.
Leaving the U.S. behind, he recalled feeling, “I have no chance in this country. They don’t write for Mexicans.”
He made 13 films in four years and became a star in his native country, then was rediscovered by Hollywood when Metro- Goldwyn-Mayer went on location in Mexico to film the Esther Williams matador movie “Fiesta” (1947). In an improbable pairing, given their different accents and appearances, he and Williams were cast as twins.
Leading Man
Signed by MGM, Montalban played twice more opposite Williams, as her fiance in “On an Island With You” (1948) and as the Argentinian polo player who wins her heart in “Neptune’s Daughter” (1949). In that film they sang “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” which won Frank Loesser an Academy Award for best original score.
Montalban also played a wealthy Brazilian who charms Lana Turner in “Latin Lovers” (1953).
After MGM chose not to renew his contract, Montalban turned to television, appearing in episodes of live drama shows including “Ford Television Theatre” and “Playhouse 90.”
He would go on to appear in movies including the John Ford- directed western “Cheyenne Autumn” (1964), “Madame X” (1966) with Lana Turner and John Forsythe, “Sweet Charity” (1969) and “The Naked Gun” (1988).
His biggest TV role after “Fantasy Island” was as Zach Powers on “The Colbys,” the Spelling-produced “Dynasty” spinoff that aired on ABC from 1985-87. Montalban played a scheming business rival of the Colby clan.
Awards, Recognition
Montalban won an Emmy award for outstanding supporting actor playing a Sioux Indian leader in “How the West Was Won” (1978), a television mini-series. The Screen Actors Guild gave him a lifetime achievement award in 1993.
He founded Nosotros, a Hollywood-based nonprofit that trains and supports Latino actors. The group bought and renovated a theater, which opened in 2004.
Montalban’s brother Carlos played a Latin American dictator in Woody Allen’s “Bananas” (1971) and appeared as El Exigente in TV commercials for Savarin coffee.
Montalban’s wife of more than 60 years, Georgiana, a half- sister of film star Loretta Young, died in 2007. They had four children: Mark, Victor, Laura and Anita.
I can't believe Kim Possible wasn't mentioned in the article. You will be missed.

Be Carefull With That Thong Baby

A lady is suing Victoria's Secret for an injury she received from her thong panty. She claims a metal piece flew off the panty and struck her in the eye causing damage that will plague her for the rest of her life. Here is a link to the story at Fox and the story and the court documents at the Smoking Gun . I am still trying to work this out in my head and for the life of me cannot figure out how a metal piece could fly off a thing with enough force to strike the wearer in the eye. I just can't see it happening. Hopefully someone with more time and money than I have will CSI this and post their findings. In the meantime ladies be careful.

'Miss Bimbo' Web Site Sparks Outrage in Britain

Here's a news item that was on Fox News a while back I found quite disturbing:
A Web site that encourages girls as young as 9 to embrace plastic surgery and extreme dieting in the search for the perfect figure was condemned as lethal by British parents' groups and health-care experts Monday.
The "Miss Bimbo" Internet game has attracted prepubescent girls who are told to buy their virtual characters breast-enlargement surgery and to keep them "waif thin" with diet pills.
Health-care professionals, a parents' group and an organization representing people suffering from anorexia and bulimia criticized the Web site for sending a dangerous message to impressionable children.
In the month since it opened the site, which is aimed at girls aged from 9 to 16, has attracted 200,000 members.
Players keep a constant watch on the weight, wardrobe, wealth and happiness of their character to create "the coolest, richest and most famous bimbo in the world."
Competing against other children, they earn "bimbo dollars" to buy plastic surgery, diet pills, facelifts, lingerie and fashionable nightclub outfits.
The Web site sparked controversy when it was introduced in France last year, where it attracted 1.2 million players.
Dee Dawson, the medical director of the Rhodes Farm Clinic in north London, which treats girls aged from 8 to 18 who suffer from eating disorders, said: "This is as lethal as pro-anorexia Web sites. A lot of children will get caught up with the extremely damaging and appalling messages."
Susan Ringwood, the chief executive of Beat, a Norwich, England-based organization that supports those suffering from eating disorders, said that the Web site could make girls believe that weight and body size manipulation were acceptable.
The Miss Bimbo site was set up by Nicholas Jacquart, a French entrepreneur. He moved to Tooting, South London, recently and with a 30-year-old businessman called Chris Evans set up Ouza Ltd to promote the Web site in Britain.
Its introduction came as research showed that British children as young as 6 were developing acute eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia. On Monday it emerged that increasing numbers of British teenagers were undergoing breast enlargement surgery.
Registration on the Miss Bimbo site is free but it makes money by charging £1.50 (about $3.00) per text message to buy "dollars" to spend on the characters.
On the rules section it states that despite contestants wanting "to keep your bimbo waif thin ... every girl needs to eat, every now and again."
It suggests feeding the character to prevent her dying of starvation.
Bill Hibberd, a spokesman for Parentkind, a parents' group based in Sheffield, England, said: "Children's innocence should be protected as far as possible. It depends on the mindset of the child but the danger is that after playing the game some will then aspire to have breast operations and take diet pills.
"The danger is that a nine-year-old girl fails to appreciate the irony and sees the bimbo as a cool role model," Hibberd added. "Then the game becomes a hazard and a menace."
Jacquart claims the game teaches children about the real world and is simply harmless fun.
"The game is structured in such a way that it simply mirrors real life in a tongue-in-cheek way," he said. "It is not a bad influence for young children. They learn to take care of their bimbos. The missions and goals for the bimbos are morally sound and teach children about the real world.
"If they eat too much chocolate in the game, it is bad for their bimbos' bodies and their happiness levels compared to if they eat fruit and vegetables, which reinforces positive healthy eating messages," Jacquart added. "The breast operations are just one part of the game and we are not encouraging young girls to have them."
Evans admitted that the story in the script had been created by "lads" and no professional advice was sought about how girls may interpret issues surrounding weight loss and gain.
Nick Williams, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, said that he was appalled when he saw his daughters Katie, 9, and Sarah, 14, on the site pondering whether to buy their character breast operations and facelifts.
"I noticed them looking at possible breast operations and facelifts at the game's plastic surgery clinic," said Williams, 42. "It is irresponsible of the site's creators to be leading young girls astray. They are easily influenced at that age as to what is cool and these are not things they should be encouraged to aspire to before they are old enough to be making up their own minds."

So Long Brett Favre

Since announcing his retirement I wanted to wish Brett Favre the best of luck in whatever he does next. Being around for his whole career was something special to watch. He was truly a gifted quarterback and was amazing to watch. To the Packers fans sundays in Green Bay just won't be the same. I just waonder if the Packers Bikini Girls will continue their tradition of stripping down to a bikini at all the home games.
